Personality: In the real world, Kirino comes off as someone who has everything going for them. She's smart, athletic, pretty, and has an amazing personality to boot. The only thing is, is that the personality that she puts on for everyone else when she's at school is fake. She pretends to be someone who's very nice, and cares for everyone around her, but that's just not her style. She does care for people, but in her own way- not the ways that other people think.
She is very much a tsundere, with almost all tsun and no dere. It varies depending on who's she's speaking to, when she's talking with her model friends, she puts on that mask that she's the nicest person ever. When she's talking with her otaku friends, she turns more into herself, someone who still cares for them deeply, but rarely shows it. She prefers to bicker about how her anime is better than anyone's and whoever opposes that gets a barrage of insults from her. Now, when she's speaking to her brother, that's where she unleashes most of her wrath. She becomes quite mean, and continues to call him names like an idiot, or a pervert. When it all boils down to it though, when she deeply cares for certain people, she treats them in a way that could be seen as her hating them, but really she just can’t be true with her feelings and would rather push them away than say nice things to them. It doesn’t mean that she dislikes them or anything, she’s just too much of a tsundere to properly express what she’s feeling. Calling someone vulgar names is much easier for her to do than own up to her own feelings. Kirino has too much pride, and stooping so low as to openly admit something like caring for another person is hard for her.

She’s almost overly happy when thinking about topics such as her anime involving loli-like characters. She gets in a really hyper mood, and would often sing along to songs, and bounce around in her seat. When she’s not afraid to talk about anime and such, she’ll often go into a rant about how much she likes something, ignoring whatever other people are saying to her, or trying to say, at the time.
Her anger is something that comes often enough, arising when someone makes fun of her favorite anime, characters- or when someone talks poorly of her brother. When she’s upset, or in a bad mood, she has been prone to simply run away from her problems, and being on the track team allows her to literally run away from people without them able to catch up to her right away. Kirino’s not afraid to express her disdain in public, often shouting, cursing, and hitting things or people in an attempt to calm herself. When her anger boils over, that’s when it begins to melt away and show her softer side, one where she would break down and begin to cry, thus leading to her doubting herself. She would feel as though her hobby is too weird, and if she were able to give it up she would, but it’s simply out of the question. She feels the need to protect what’s dear to her, and if acting like a complete child is the only way, then she’d do it proudly.

She was furious at the sudden turn of events, her mind racing and she wasn't able to properly put her emotions into words. When she was confronted with the biggest challenge of her life Kirino changed from that point on.
She had grown up loving her brother, wanting to be noticed by him, but when she was told by Manami, someone she thought was her friend, that she was nothing more than a disgusting little girl, that her love for her brother was sick and wrong, that she would be ridiculed and would never be approved by anyone else if she continued to live this way. Kirino was crushed, but hearing such words at a young age she took them all to heart, thinking that Manami was right all along, maybe she was overly weird, gross, and needed to change in order to be accepted by everyone. The next day she had gone out shopping by herself, she needed to get away, to sort out her thoughts, however after she had just walked out of one of the many stores she had visited someone grabbed at her purse. The man had run with it, and without thinking- Kirino had gone after him. She was still angry from everything, her mind was a blur of emotions, and she figured since she was the ace of the track team she would be able to catch him and get her purse back, easy. The man ran into an alley with Kirino right behind him and it wasn't until they were entirely alone did she slow down, just then realizing that this wasn't a good idea. With uneven breath the girl came to a halt, muttering something she stared at the man. He had turned to her as well, however he wasn't about to let her get away, there were no other witnesses now at least. They had run quite the ways, away from people, and Kirino hadn't realized that due to the flood of emotions she had felt during the chase. Her heart was pounding but she took a few steps back, only to see the man darting towards her. She was quick on her feet, but a hand grabbed a hold of her wrist, pulling her and she soon felt her head slam against the nearby wall. With a groan she opened her eyes, a hand instinctively going to her head, feeling the wet sensation of liquid against her palm now. She was scared, terrified, and before she could even shout the man had rushed at her again, this time there was a new feeling that had engulfed her. She couldn't speak, couldn't cry for help, all that came out was a gasp and a few attempts at breath. She had been stabbed by the man, he wanted no witnesses at all, apparently, and since she had been the one to see his face there was no other way this was meant to turn out. Everything started to go dark for her, she barely felt the man pull the knife out of her abdomen, but soon her body slid down the wall, and she was unable to gasp for anymore oxygen, her consciousness had already slipped away. Her last thoughts lingered on her brother, how much she loved him, and the regret and utter disgust she felt for not telling him everything, how she felt and what she was plagued with every day of her life.

She had been thrilled that he had agreed to go on the date with her, while it had been fake she had come up with the plan to get closer with him either way, wanting to scare off that woman that had asked her to go abroad again but with this excuse some of her fantasies would be made a reality. She had thought up so many perfect scenarios, steeled herself and had gotten herself prepared for the worst and of course for the best possible situations as well. She had thought that maybe they would have hugged, held each other, hold hands, all of the above and if one thing lead to another then.... then well....

Her heart had skipped a beat at the thought, the possibility, but at the same time she knew it could never happen and had to tell herself to calm down, to relax and to never think like that again, think realistically. The girl sighed heavily, the pillow in her hand had been used as a way of venting, she had wound up and beat her wall with it but it was simply useless now. Time to call up someone then, get a couple favors going. She nodded to herself, dropping the pillow she walked over to her desk, flopping down in her seat she picked up her cellphone and dialed a number. After a couple rings a familiar voice picked up.
"Hello, Mikagami-san?" a pause as she listened to him, "yes.... mm.... yeah- um I have something to ask, sorry if it sounds so weird, I guess I should explain..."
Maybe.... with this Kyousuke would really notice her, but who knows- that brother of hers is so overly dense.
